Job summary

Venatôre, a Tampa‑based government contractor, seeks an experienced F5 Administrator to configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG‑IP systems and ensure high availability of critical applications. You will work with network, systems, and security teams to deliver robust application delivery services for mission operations.

You will design traffic management, manage SSL offloading, and develop iRules and automation scripts, while adhering to DoD security requirements and participating in Agile

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on with F5 BIG-IP systems for high availability and scalability.
• Experience configuring load balancers, SSL offloading, and ADCs.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS.
• Proficient with iRules and traffic management policies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps boards and Agile methodologies in demanding DoD environments.
• DoD 8140/8570 certification (e.g., Security+).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance; willing to travel up to 10% to OCONUS.
• Ability to document configurations, procedures, and change controls.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems including load balancers and SSL offloading.
• Design traffic management with GSLB/LSLB and manage certificates/keys.
• Develop and maintain F5 iRules and automation scripts (iControl REST, tmsh).
• Upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot F5 infrastructure to ensure availability.
• Collaborate with network, systems, and security teams for end‑to‑end delivery.
• Track tasks in Azure DevOps and participate in Scrumban planning.
• Support readiness for USCENTCOM operations and related SLAs.
