Job summary

Leidos Inc in Tampa, FL is seeking an F5 Administrator to configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal application delivery for USCENTCOM on the CITS contract. You will manage SSL offloading, iRules, GSLB/LSLB, and perform upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization.

The role requires DoD 8140/8570 certs, TS/SCI clearance, and US citizenship, with possible up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP systems, including Load Balancers, ADCs, and SSL offloading.
Deep proficiency in configuring and managing F5 systems for high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS.
Experience with F5 iRules and traffic management policies for application delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot complex F5 issues, including performance, connectivity, and security problems.

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and maintain F5 BIG-IP systems, including Load Balancers, ADCs, and SSL offloading configurations.
Design and implement traffic management rules, including GSLB and LSLB.
Manage F5 configurations for SSL/TLS offloading, including key and certificate management.
Configure and maintain F5 iRules to manage application traffic.
Assist in performing F5 system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting tasks.
Assist in the design and implementation of new F5 solutions to improve application delivery, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve F5-related performance and availability issues.
Monitor F5 systems for health and performance, providing proactive recommendations.
Support incident response and root cause analysis for F5-related issues.
