Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a logistics professional to assure inventory sufficiency for mission requirements across the lifecycle of supported systems. The role manages asset positions within PBL/TSPR contracts, coordinating with suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations to optimize allocation and redistribution.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, supporting proposals and provisioning determinations, and interfacing with DoD systems while ensuring asset

Qualifications

• 7+ years combined experience in supply chain logistics and warehouse inventory management.
• Experience with MICAPS/high-priority requisition support and repair cycle management.
• Experience supporting PBL or SCM concepts and performance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You Will Be Doing:

Responsible for assuring inventory sufficiency with respect to mission requirements throughout the life cycle of supported systems. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness. This position is located at Nellis AFB, NV.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of combined experience with Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Inventory Management
• Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) / High-priority requisition support and component repair cycle management
• Experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with data analysis and metrics development

Desired Skills

• Experience with 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft
• Field Service Rep experience; international preferred with Import/Export customs experience
• Knowledge of the following management systems: SAP and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
• Experience training and supervising a diverse workforce
• Hazmat shipping certified
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00
