Hunter Automotive Group seeks an experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to guide customers through financing, present protection products, and collaborate with the sales team to drive profitability. You’ll work with lending partners to secure suitable options and ensure accurate paperwork throughout the process.

The role emphasizes delivering a transparent, positive experience from application to final paperwork while maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Finance & Insurance (F&I) experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive lending, lender programs, and F&I products.
• Understanding of finance documentation and applicable compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Leadership or coaching experience is a plus.
• F&I certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

As our F&I Manager, you'll guide customers through the financing process, build relationships with lending partners, present valuable protection products, and work closely with the sales team to help drive dealership performance.

What You'll Do

Finance, Sales & Profitability

• Guide customers through the vehicle financing process and explain available financing options.
• Present F&I products, including extended service contracts, vehicle protection plans, and other available products.
• Work with banks and lending institutions to secure financing options that meet customer needs.
• Structure deals and review transactions to support dealership profitability.
• Prepare and review finance contracts and related documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial partners.
• Stay current on lender programs, F&I products, and applicable industry regulations.

Customer Experience

• Build trust with customers through clear communication and professional service.
• Explain financing terms, payment options, and protection products in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Answer questions and ensure customers understand their agreements.
• Deliver a smooth, transparent, and positive experience from application through final paperwork.

Teamwork & Performance

• Partner with Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to coordinate vehicle transactions.
• Support the sales team with F&I processes and product knowledge.
• Help strengthen department performance by monitoring results and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Promote ethical sales practices, accountability, and compliance.
• Share knowledge and coach team members on finance procedures and best practices.

What We’re Looking For
