Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager for Carson Honda in Carson, CA. The role focuses on meeting sales quotas and gross objectives daily, while selling finance and insurance products to customers.

Responsibilities include forecasting, managing lender relationships, processing deals, and coordinating with sales and service teams. Requires prior F&I dealership experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test).
• Strong knowledge of financing options, lending practices, and insurance products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple transactions.
• Previous experience as a Finance and Insurance Manager in an automotive dealership.

Responsibilities

• Make a monthly projection of vehicle requirements by department for the next 90 days.
• Determine monthly and yearly forecasts for unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits.
• Sell financing and insurance products to customers.
• Sell Extended Warranties and all other aftermarket items.
• Establish and maintain relationships with multiple finance sources.
• Submit paperwork to finance sources for approval on all deals.
• Meet with each salesperson daily to review results and plan actions.
• Conduct sales meetings and coordinate with Service Manager on pre-delivery.
• Handle all rate quotations.
• Log sales income.
• Verify insurance with customer agents and verify deposits/trade payoff.
