Poway Honda, a Sonic Automotive dealership, seeks a Finance Manager to drive profitability by meeting unit sales quotas and gross objectives daily, monthly and yearly. You will lead finance and insurance initiatives and develop relationships with lenders to secure favorable terms for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, finance knowledge, and experience with dealership procedures; compensation ranges from $130,000 to $175,000 per year plus commission and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; finance knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn systems used in auto-finance.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly projections for department needs and 90-day forecasts.
• Forecast unit sales, gross profit objectives and departmental profits.
• Sell financing, insurance products, extended warranties and aftermarket items.
• Establish relationships with finance sources; obtain approvals for deals.
• Review daily results with sales team and lead finance meetings.
• Ensure accurate paperwork, titles, taxes and lien information.
• Log income and verify customer insurance with agents; manage deposits and payoffs.
