Job summary

The Las Olas Company / Riverside Hotel is seeking a F&B Shift Leader for the Boathouse to guide beverage personnel, uphold service standards, and support the Boathouse General Manager in daily operations and team morale.

As a key on-floor leader you will supervise opening and closing shifts, train new staff, manage guest questions and inventory, and collaborate with the management team to deliver consistent luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience in luxury hotel environment preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct beverage personnel to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate presentation and service of food and beverages to ensure quality.
• Assist in training all new and current employees.
• Open and/or close the restaurant in the absence of leadership.
• Maintain floor presence and oversee shift duties and checkout.
• Resolve guest questions or complaints promptly.
• Assist with monthly beverage inventory and weekly orders.
• Ensure staff paperwork is completed properly.
• Follow up on requests from the previous shift manager.
• Foster teamwork and morale; send daily shift reports.
