Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Food & Beverage Lead to oversee the F&B Attendant team on shift at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, Lake Tahoe, CA. You will perform cashier duties, run food, buss tables, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while guiding the team and maintaining service standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in F&B service with leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food and beverage service experience.
• Experience in lead, trainer, or shift lead roles preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and accurate cash handling.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to business levels.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the F&B Attendant team during shifts and assign stations.
• Act as shift contact in absence of Supervisor and resolve issues.
• Conduct pre-shift huddles with menu updates and priorities.
• Train new team members on cashier procedures and service standards.
• Work with team in cashiering, running food, bussing, and table resets.
• Oversee cash handling and reconcile opening/closing counts.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure timely, accurate food delivery.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues when possible.
