Overview

We are seeking a team player for the F & B Restaurant Server position who is ready to go the extra mile on every occasion to delight and astound our guests, and someone who will always look for opportunities to improve our service. As a Food & Beverage Restaurant Server, you will create a hospitable environment for the customers by providing excellent food order service throughout the casino floors. You will be responsible for food & beverage order taking via mobile tablets by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities

1. Take orders for food and beverage from seated customers through a mobile/table device.
2. Issue receipts and collect payment from customers.
3. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all food items to take orders accurately, making recommendations about menu items and drinks.
4. Adhere to local liquor and food handling laws, including stopping alcohol orders at the correct times and assisting in clearing the floor from bottles.
5. Assist others in replenishing condiments, cleaning silverware, menus, and other items as needed.
6. Provide a memorable guest experience by interacting with guests and providing prompt and courteous service.
7. Welcome and escort guests through the designated waiting area as needed.
8. Concentrate and work in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions.
9. Ensure proper and economical use of equipment, supplies, and facility, maintaining a safe work area.
10. Communicate clearly with staff members and customers.
11. Be available on call and work overtime when necessary, including weekends and holidays.
12. Perform other job-related duties within the scope of this position as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
• Six (6) months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have an active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card.
• This position requires active RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Open availability to work Day, Swing, or Graveyard shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background check, and credit check.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at the neck for 6 or more hours a day.
• Position will require repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.
• Position may require exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
