Job Title: Housekeeper/Janitor (Bell Gardens, CA)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean casino areas, gambling areas, offices, restrooms, and the Event Center, conference rooms.
• Clean lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, stairways, hallways, locker rooms, parking areas, and restrooms to meet health standards.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, wax, and polish floors; straighten areas around the casino.
• Clean ashtrays in smoking areas; shampoo casino floors and chairs.
• Brush gaming tables daily; remove gum from floors, tables, and chairs.
• Assist in moving used food carts to service stations.
• Help set up and break down special events and tournaments.
• Remove broken chairs for repair and transport them to the Facilities location.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets.
• Assist in moving gaming tables and chairs.
• Dust furniture; wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, metal fixtures, and brass.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and dispose of trash, including in smoking areas.
• Transport trash to disposal areas; replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Clean grounds and remove litter outside.
• Clear and straighten areas around gaming tables.
• Assist in setting up, arranging, or removing decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding for events.
• Ensure work areas are maintained safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability for Day, Swing, or Graveyard shifts.
• Ability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a California gambling establishment employee permit, badge, or license.
• Proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a drug test, criminal background, and credit check.
