Job summary

The Restaurant Manager at Shaner Hotels will oversee all aspects of the restaurant operation, directing service and management philosophy to ensure quality customer service across shifts.

You will train staff, plan and assign work, evaluate performance, and address guest concerns while maintaining safety, cost controls, and adherence to brand standards in a dynamic hotel environment.

Fluency in English and Spanish a plus; ability to manage budgets, inventory, and communicate with hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in the Restaurant/Food & Beverage field.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management, and co-workers clearly.
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to compute mathematical calculations and use measurement tools.
• Ability to prepare budgets and ensure cost controls.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.
