Odawa Casino Resort is seeking a F&B Production Chef to oversee high-volume food production, ensure quality and guest satisfaction, and maintain sanitation standards. You will lead culinary prep, plan production and coordinate with the Executive Chef to meet menu requirements and events.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive food safety knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays in a busy resort kitchen environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least five years of experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Knowledge of rotation principles.
• Must complete TIPS certification within 30 days.
• Must complete ServSafe certification within 90 days.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Performs proper food safety handling and prep area sanitation.
• Plans production needs and monitors inventory.
• Produces food to menu specifications and guest requests.
• Assists with set up and production of special events.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and workstations.
• Ensures proper storage and temperature control of ingredients.
• Adheres to policies and participates in meetings and training.
