Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor in Gurnee, IL, is offering a Food & Beverage Procurement Internship at $19 per hour. Interns will lead and motivate a team, manage costs, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment while supporting the Food & Beverage Operations team.

Responsibilities include inventory control, vendor communication, purchase orders, price tracking, and assisting with seasonal staff hiring. Employment runs from late April 2026 through August 2026.

Formación

• Minimum age 18.
• Pursuing a degree in supply chain or related field.
• Outgoing, professional demeanor.
• Good communication and decision-making skills.
• Able to train, multitask, and work with others.
• Able to stand/walk up to 6 hours in all weather conditions.
• Available Sundays for inventory audits.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Employment duration between end of April 2026 and August 2026.

Responsabilidades

• Interact positively with guests and team members.
• Maintain inventory levels using PAR guides and deliveries.
• Enter vendor bid information with pricing and descriptions.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm orders.
• Place orders accurately by phone and online.
• Coordinate with department, warehouse staff, and management.
• Address product quality issues and report violations.
• Report spoilage or damage to management.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly price change databases.
• Forecast weekly usage trends.
• Process and file purchase orders.
• Create weekly product usage reports.
• Train/unit management on waste logs and inventory.
• Assist F&B Operations with hiring seasonal staff and events.
