Job summary

Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA seeks an experienced bartender to deliver top-notch beverage service in a fast-paced resort setting. You will mix and present specialty drinks, manage orders, and maintain a clean, sanitary bar area in accordance with health codes.

Requirements include being at least 21, one year of bartender experience, High School Diploma, and Serve Safe/TIPS certification. Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Requires knowledge of a specialized/technical field.
• High School Diploma, Required.
• One-year Bartender experience, Required.
• Must obtain Serve Safe/TIPS Certification.
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance; acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Check with Manager for daily forecast training standard objectives.
• Ascertain the daily specials from kitchen and communicate them.
• Answer phone and record take-out food/drink orders.
• Inspect Bar for cleanliness and proper supply levels.
• Make specialty drinks to standard including ingredients and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment per local health codes.
• Perform service, busser and runner duties as appropriate.
• Willingness to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management.
• Use POS accurately; handle card transactions as directed.
• Participate in upsell strategies and daily lineups.
• Practice service standards and training.

• Uses POS accurately. Handles card transactions as directed
• Participates in upsell strategies as directed by management
• Participates in daily line ups
• Practices service standards and current training throughout service

Education and Experience Required

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Requires thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field
• High School Diploma, Required
• One-year Bartender experience, Required
• Must be able to obtain Serve Safe/TIPS Certification
• Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record
