Job Overview

Plan and manage the Restaurant, Bar, Coffee Shop, and Mobile Dining to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with policies and regulations, and financial goals. Responsible for short-term planning and operations management of the Restaurant, Room Service, Bar, and catering. Recommends promotional ideas and procedural changes. Prepares forecasts, and manages budgets for various outlets.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage human resources within the department, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance reviews, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination.
  2. Develop and manage the department's budget, business/marketing plan, forecasts, and objectives to meet or exceed management expectations.
  3. Implement and oversee all company and franchise programs to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and sanitary regulations, and all relevant laws to ensure quality service and hospitality.
  4. Market Food and Beverage outlets; develop and implement menus, promotions, displays, and decorations to attract guests and increase market share, aiming to meet or exceed sales and financial targets.
  5. Maintain sanitation and maintenance of food and beverage areas and equipment to protect assets, ensure compliance, and provide quality service.
  6. Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a high-quality experience and promote future sales.
Qualifications
Education/Formal Training

More than two years of post-high school education.

Experience

One to two years of related employment experience with this or other organizations.

Knowledge/Skills
  • Excellent understanding of guest and associate matters.
  • Ability to interpret instructions from customers, associates, and managers.
  • Strong oral communication skills for interacting with guests and staff, issuing instructions, and policy communication.
  • Ability to read and implement policies and procedures, including schedules, forecasts, and SOPs.
  • Knowledge of food safety and chemicals/agents for training purposes.
Physical Demands

The physical requirements include excellent vision for seating guests, food expediting, cleaning, and reading plans and schedules. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing 20-40 lbs. Bending, standing, and stair climbing are required, with temperature conditions potentially exceeding 100 degrees in outdoor dining or kitchen areas. The role involves 95% inside work, supervising all outlet areas, with minimal stationary standing and mobility across all outlets.
