Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold Ithaka Hospitality standards. You will supervise FOH staff, coordinate events, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across outlets.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in hospitality with supervisory experience, strong communication, and proficiency with restaurant POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality preferred.
• 3+ years hospitality experience with supervisory background.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol; CPR and Responsible Vendor certs desired.
• Experience in food & beverage operations and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with proper staffing and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure service standards align with brand and industry norms.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate relevant priorities.
• Provide visible leadership, remain calm during high-volume periods.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain communication across departments and SOPs.
• Manage inventories, financial controls, and reporting.
• Coordinate special events with leadership and GM.
