Riggs Washington DC is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead all aspects of hotel restaurant operations, including Café Riggs and Silver Lyan. You will drive service excellence, develop SOPs, and manage a diverse team to deliver memorable dining experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction, with responsibilities spanning operations, staff development, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel restaurant operations.
• Ability to recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dining room, bar, and events operations to ensure smooth service.
• Develop and implement SOPs for service, including reservations and opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per health regulations.
• Recruit, train and supervise F&B staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll; monitor labor costs and adjust as needed.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and address guest feedback.
• Collaborate with culinary team on menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
• Develop and manage the F&B budget; implement pricing and upselling strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws and hotel policies for food safety and service.
