Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive hotel or related field experience.
• Proficient in Windows, company spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Clear verbal and written communication required.

Responsibilities

• React to negative trends in market place by implementing food and beverage blitzes and promotions.
• Organize monthly department meetings for restaurant/lounge staff and weekly F&B meetings.
• Attend daily BEO meetings.
• Conduct beverage purchasing as needed.
• Purchase F&B operating equipment as needed.
• Conduct monthly beverage inventories and reconciliations.
• Ensure quality and presentation of all food products per standards.
• Maintain professional relationships across departments.
• Oversee Banquet department operations.
• Use POS to print reports and analyze data.
• Establish and maintain key control system.
• Complete monthly menu analysis and submit to Corporate Office.
• Monitor and address F&B cash variances.
• Assist GM and Engineering in emergencies procedures.
• Maintain filing system for purchases, schedules, forecasts, reports.
• Complete required correspondence in a timely manner.
• Attend monthly all-employee meetings and functions.
• Maintain open communication, motivate staff, and seek input from employees.
• Ensure positive communication between F&B and Food Production.
• Update POS changes in menus or server lists.
• Handle Lost and Found per standards.
• Maintain stock pars and daily sales reviews.
• Perform other duties as requested by GM.
• Maintain SOPs concerning credit policies.
