Location

The Elser Hotel & Residences is a 49-story luxury condominium hotel in Downtown Miami. The tower features 646 fully furnished rooms/residences, over 19,000 sq ft of curated amenities, and 5,000 sq ft of retail space. Named after the historic Elser Pier, the hotel continues the tradition of enjoying Biscayne Bay’s shoreline.

Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of F&B outlet operations, ensuring profitability, high-quality products, and service levels. Responsibilities include marketing, reducing employee turnover, managing budgets, and meeting productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the outlet.
  • Supervise outlet staff.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints.
  • Coordinate with other F&B managers and address issues.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of problems.
  • Monitor Loss Prevention measures.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely.
  • Ensure reports like wage progress, payroll, revenue, and employee schedules are completed.
  • Maintain service quality in the outlet.
  • Assist in menu planning.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws and health regulations.
  • Follow SOPs and requisition procedures.
  • Be visible on the floor to assist staff.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews.
  • Train employees on SOPs and technical tasks.
  • Participate in departmental and hotel training programs.
  • Interview and approve front-of-house candidates.
  • Complete tip reporting.
  • Implement and monitor promotions and standards.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction.
