Job summary

Moxy Charlotte is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our bar and restaurant operations, build a strong team, and ensure a memorable guest experience through energetic service and thoughtful leadership.

You will oversee back-of-house F&B teams, daily operations, inventory, menu accuracy, and catering support, while upholding health, safety, and alcohol-safety standards. A high school diploma, bartending experience, fluency in English, and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Bartending experience required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for managing back of house F&B staff.
• Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel bar and/or restaurant.
• Manage all inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and equipment.
• Monitor service quality and resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Supervise, train, and schedule team members for breakfast, restaurant, bar, and catering activities.
• Provide shift coverage to ensure proper staffing of F&B outlets and events.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
• Assist staff with guest inquiries and resolutions.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
