Job summary

Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial expertise to executive management and field teams. You will drive sales reporting, forecasting, food/labor cost analysis, and concept-based budgeting across restaurant operations, partnering with Bass Pro leadership to achieve performance targets.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, KPI development, and the deployment of automated reporting tools to improve decision making in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Certificate(s) or License(s): Valid Driver’s License
• Years of experience: 2+ years F&B leadership experience preferred
• 2+ years of financial analysis, public accounting and/or financial reporting or corporate accounting experience with a general understanding of GAAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Works closely with F&B leadership to enhance tools and capabilities to manage performance
• Disaggregates performance by restaurant, job code, products, etc.
• Briefs leadership on performance trends for targeted improvements
• Measurment, tracking and reporting of Productivity initiatives; communicate trends and risks
• Monitors labor and sales numbers and suggests changes to leadership
• Coordinate marketing plan to meet top line revenue projections
• Teach business acumen to operational leaders
• Leverage technology to automate reporting and lead new technology implementations
• Develop and maintain the annual plan and ongoing financial forecasts
• Provide ad-hoc analytics across cross-functional requests
• Analyze sales, labor, food/beverage costs and profitability trends
• Develop, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards and KPIs
