Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Attendant to process food and beverage orders, receive and inspect shipments, and deliver items to all venues. You will maintain sanitation and accuracy in daily stock, and coordinate with chefs and production teams to support menu needs.

Ideal candidates will have a GED, Food Handler’s Certificate, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Clean Driving Record Required.
• Six months of related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems.
• Good organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Dependable, a self-starter, and able to adjust to change.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress work environment.
• Flexible to work different shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices food safety and sanitation; maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Places sales orders for all venues during warehouse hours; maintains pars.
• Inspects deliveries for freshness; communicates with supervisor to accept/decline items.
• Retrieves orders and delivers inventory; weighs/measures items for daily reports.
• Communicates with chef on duty about menu items needing thawing and ingredients needed.
• Operates distribution communications to ensure smooth flow between teams.
• Maintains sanitation in storage areas and reports storage issues to Quality Control.
• Stays informed about casino events and promotions and performs other duties as assigned.
• Does not provide supervision to others.
