Job summary

Port Madison Enterprises Family operates Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, WA. We are seeking a part-time cocktail server to greet guests, pour drinks, and deliver a friendly dining and casino experience.

You will work in a fast-paced bar and dining room, require at least 1 year of cocktailing, obtain TIPS and Health Card, and demonstrate strong communication while handling cash and guest safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cocktailing experience.
• TIPS training and Health Card.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work in a busy atmosphere and manage intoxicated guests per policy.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks to guests.

General Position Summary:

Serves drinks to guests, makes and gives change

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Serves Food and drinks to guest.
• Promotes good guest relations
• Cleans station

Secondary Functions:

• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Specific Job Skills:

• Minimum of one (1) year of cocktailing.
• TIPS training, Health Card
• Excellent communications skills.
• Able to work in a busy atmosphere.
• Cash transaction experience.
• Good problem-solving skills.

QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.

Job Conditions:

Conditions include working in the Bar/Casino/Dining Room during busy times of the day and night, smoky, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, week-ends and holidays. Must make decisions regarding intoxicated guests in conjunction with current policies.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lb. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity for operation of cash register and routine paperwork.
