Job summary

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa in Gatlinburg, TN, seeks an enthusiastic F&B Cashier to greet guests, take orders, and handle payments with accuracy. You will balance daily receipts, assist teammates, and ensure excellent service in a high-volume setting near the Great Smoky Mountains.

Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with Daily Pay available. The role requires ABC certification within 30 days, legal eligibility to work in the U.S., and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• ABC Certification required within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Team member must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must pass background screen and drug test.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Present menu and answer guest questions professionally.
• Take and deliver guest orders following guidelines.
• Balance daily receipts and payments (cash, vouchers, cards, in-house).
• Confirm daily reservations and provide support to the team.
• Process payments and maintain accountability.
• Prepare items for guest pickup and assist as needed.
• Adhere to safety, security, and sanitation requirements.
• Provide excellent service to guests and owners.
• Perform POS duties and maintain records.

What You'll Do as a F&B Cashier:

• Presents menu to guest, responds to menu item inquiries in professional and accurate manner.
• Takes guests orders following department guidelines.
• Deliver guest orders following department guidelines.
• Balancing of daily receipts, including but not limited to: cash, vouchers, credit cards and In-house charges.
• Confirms and completes daily reservation lists, assists all other position in department for support and assistance.
• Accepting approved forms of payment adhering to accounting standard (with full and complete accountability).
• Taking guest food orders following department guidelines.
• Greets all guests that arrive within visible area.
• Selects requested food items from serving/kitchen or storage areas and assembles items for guest pickup following department guidelines.
• Conformance to Government and Company Safety, Security and Sanitation requirements.
• Responsible for providing Excellent Service to owners and guests alike.
• Perform POS system responsibility per guidelines.
• Maintain required department records with accuracy.
• Complete opening/running/closing duties as assigned.
• Conform to department training standards.

What You'll Bring:

• ABC Certification required within 30 days of Hire, must be maintained on a current/valid status.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
