Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

The Virginian is recruiting for a Part-Time Bartender to join our Food and Beverage department. This role involves serving a diverse community of residents in an exceptional hospitable environment. The successful candidate will communicate effectively, organize bar supplies efficiently, and work closely with leadership to enhance the dining experience. A passion for seniors and a background in customer service or hospitality are essential. This position offers flexible scheduling and potential growth into leadership roles.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Opening and closing the bar at scheduled times
• Recommending menu items and providing feedback to culinary and management staff
• Serving as the hospitality ambassador in the bar area
• Ordering and monitoring bar supplies
• Collaborating on community events and activities
• Assisting in designing drink menus and food pairings
