Bunker Hills Event Center in Coon Rapids is seeking a part-time Food and Beverage Attendant to perform set up and service within banquet catering and concession operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and guest service. This role supports beverage service, preparation, and maintaining displays and equipment.

• Experience or training in a high-volume, high-energy food and beverage environment preferred.
• Availability to work nights or weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds.
• Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper set up and break down of service tables, counters, buffets, dining tables, and concession stands. Cleans and polishes glassware, flatware, and equipment.
• Collects and transports food items such as dressings, butters and desserts, as well as supplies from the kitchen to serving stations and event rooms.
• Does basic serving and food preparation, such as tossing salads or cutting cakes. Serves beverages. Checks for accuracy prior to serving.
• Requests proper identification for guests requesting alcoholic beverages and monitors guest alcohol consumption.
• Loads and unloads trucks for offsite catering events.
• Stocks and maintains supplies, refrigerators, dispensers, and display cases throughout the shift.

This position performs set up and service activities within banquet catering, and/or concession operations with primary responsibility for ensuring food and beverage safety, quality, and consistency, and excellent guest service.
