Job summary

voco Orchard Singapore is seeking dynamic and passionate F&B staff for its outlets. You will deliver excellent guest service and ensure a memorable dining experience across our outlets and dining spaces.

The role requires NITEC or Diploma in Hospitality Management, 1–2 years in F&B, and a valid food hygiene certificate; rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays; and strong communication with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Hospitality Management is required.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in F&B.
• Experience in bartending and hotel industry is an advantage.
• Valid food hygiene certificate.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent communication with guests, colleagues and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service to guests to deliver a memorable dining experience.
• Follow established service sequence to maintain consistency.
• Upsell menu items to maximize restaurant revenue.
• Prepare mise-en-place and mise-en-scene before, during, and after service.
• Attend shift briefings and stay informed on hotel activities.
• Interact with guests and suppliers to ensure satisfaction and handle orders/invoices.
• Assist with additional duties as required by superiors.

Your Day to Day

voco Orchard Singapore is seeking dynamic and passionate F&B staff for its F&B outlets. Working together with your leaders, you will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service for its food and beverage outlets and dining spaces.

• To provide professional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Follows the established service sequence to provide consistent service at all times
• Maximise restaurant revenue by upselling restaurant menu items to guests Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints / queries satisfactorily
• Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after the service (mis-en-place & mis-en-scene)
• Attend shift briefings to keep updated on hotel activities and operational requirements
• Interact with outside contacts such as Guests – to ensure their total satisfaction and suppliers – regarding orders and invoices. Ensure all interaction is done professionally.
• May assist with other duties where required by superiors

What We Need From You

• NITEC or Diploma in Hospitality Management, or related fields.
• At least 1-2 years experience working experience in F&B.
• Working experience in bartendering and in the hotel industry will be an added advantage
• Posses a valid food hygiene certificate
• Committed to working rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Great communication skills, ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflect highly on the hotel, the brand and the company.
