Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated in the United States, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III (F/A-18E/F) on a Day Shift. You will serve as senior technician, quality inspector, and team lead to ensure safety, structural integrity, and mission readiness of carrier jets.

Must have 4–6+ years on F/A-18E/F and DoD secret clearance. Responsibilities include deep troubleshooting, supervision, and mentoring junior technicians, while following NAMP, naval procedures, and

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of dedicated experience on the F/A-18E/F platform.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Proficient reading wiring schematics and naval directives.
• Experience with Navy/Marine aviation maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and pneudraulic malfunctions on flight controls, landing gear, and arrestment systems.
• Direct and perform major structural repairs with aerospace-grade specs.
• Act as final inspector, verify clearances and entries into aircraft logs.
• Manage workload distribution, enforce the Tool Control Program, mentor junior mechanics.
• Supervise aircraft movements including jacking, towing, and postflight inspections.
