D.O.M. magazine in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic to support the F/A-18 E/F Structures program. You will perform depot-level maintenance, heavy checks, and structural modifications on Navy aircraft as part of Block 3 upgrades, with tools provided and per diem where eligible.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with a 1-year contract-to-hire and fingerprinting requirements. Candidates must have at least 4 years’ depot experience, and Boeing or military aircraft exposure is

Job Title: Aircraft Structural MechanicPosition: F/A-18 E/F Structures Technician – San Antonio, TXJob Description:Join the elite team working on the F-18 program for the U.S. Navy in San Antonio, Texas—the central hub for Service Life Modification of F-18 aircraft. Be part of the cutting-edge Block 3 modifications, upgrading these aircraft to 5th generation fighters—the most advanced and tactical jets in the Navys inventory.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform depot-level maintenance and heavy checks on aircraft.
  • Execute equipment overhauls and structural modifications.
  • Handle sheet-metal modifications and corrosion repairs.
  • Install high locks and various structural components.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience performing depot-level maintenance on aircraft.
  • Proven ability to complete equipment overhauls and modifications.
  • Military aircraft or experience working on Boeing platforms is strongly preferred.
Compensation:
  • Hourly Pay: $35–$40
  • Tools provided by employer (no personal tools required).
  • Per diem package available for those who qualify!
Schedule:
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:30 PM (overtime optional).
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (overtime optional).
  • Candidates must be open to working either shift.
  • 1-year contract-to-hire with opportunities for long-term employment.
  • Must complete fingerprinting cards and interim paperwork prior to starting.
  • Required Documents: Birth Certificate + ID or Passport.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
