Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Training System Simulator Technician to support the F-35 training devices at Tyndall Air Force Base. You will install components, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with software modifications while maintaining accurate records and cabling drawings.

The role requires interaction with multiple departments, on-site collaboration, and travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites as needed. A Secret clearance and Security+ are required or obtainable within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Final Transferable Secret clearance with last reinvestigation within 6 years.
• Ability to attain SAP access as required.
• Experience with simulation hardware and software.
• Must read schematics, drawings and manuals to resolve problems.
• Willing to support flexible hours to align with customer schedule.
• Current Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 training devices.
• Install components into chassis, racks and workstations.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and update maintenance records.
• Document cabling schemes, drawings, and maintenance programs.
