Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, F-35 Sustainment Operating Unit, has an opening for a Principal or Sr. Principal Field Engineer to join our team as an F-35 Air Vehicle Field Support Engineer at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

The selected candidate will act as the on-site interface to the customer, troubleshoot and analyze F-35 Vehicle and Mission Systems, and provide engineering guidance to maintainers, with travel up to 50% and the ability to work shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• F-35/F-22 cockpit operations experience.
• Willing to deploy CONUS/OCONUS up to 50% travel.
• Strong troubleshooting and on-site customer interface.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering analysis for F-35 vehicle and mission systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions per specs.
• Document maintenance activities and identify failure trends.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and NG personnel on solutions.
• Take on-site representative role with customer organizations.
