Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, and recovery on F-35 aircraft. You will inspect structures, hydraulics, and landing gear, update CMMS/ALIS records, and assist with field modifications while training teammates.

Candidates must read technical data, obtain and maintain clearance, and be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime as needed. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant mechanical/aircraft experience.
• A&P certification or equivalent preferred or required.
• Ability to read and interpret service data and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, launch, and recovery on F-35 aircraft.
• Inspect and service airframe structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, and landing gear.
• Maintain aircraft records in CMMS/ALIS and update status accordingly.
• Assist with Field-Level Modifications and training of team members.
• Configure aircraft for modifications and perform system checkouts.
