Responsibilities

  • Provide seasoned program analyst support to the F-35 IPT
  • Support government program office personnel in managing OEM cost, schedule, and performance
  • Conduct airframe program management tasking for ECRs, ECPs, and testing
  • Represent the IPT at planning meetings and PMRs
  • Collaborate with government and subcontract stakeholders on shared projects
  • Support design and delivery of the three-variant F-35 aircraft for U.S. and partner customers
  • Coordinate reliability, maintainability, and supportability requirements
  • Mediates industry-government interactions on technology disclosure matters
  • Support JPO business processes evaluating OEM performance and options for future requirements
  • Participate in Cost Benefit Analysis and Affordability reviews
  • Evaluate sustainment and maintenance, repair, or overhaul acquisition logistics options
  • Evaluate Tech Insertion Initiatives for DoD infrastructure integration
  • Evaluate Support Equipment/ATE requirements for future DoD initiatives
  • Train JSFPO members on acquisition-process methods and procedures
  • Translate requirements into auditable, enterprise-level policies and process frameworks
  • Operate with minimal oversight and travel between Wright-Patterson AFB and other sites

Job description

  • Provide seasoned program analyst support to the Airframe Integrated Product Team at the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office
  • Support government program office personnel in managing OEM cost, schedule, and performance for the F-35 Air System
  • Conduct airframe program management tasking for Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Proposals, and engineering testing across F-35 variants and airframe subsystems
  • Represent the IPT at planning meetings and Program Management Reviews
  • Collaborate with government and subcontract stakeholders on shared projects
  • Support design and delivery of the three-variant F-35 aircraft for U.S. military, partner-country, and Foreign Military Sales customers
  • Coordinate reliability, maintainability, and supportability requirements affecting vehicle design
  • Mediate industry-government interactions on technology disclosure matters
  • Support F-35 JPO business processes evaluating OEM performance and options for future requirements
  • Participate in Cost Benefit Analysis and Affordability Initiative reviews
  • Evaluate sustainment and maintenance, repair, or overhaul acquisition logistics options
  • Evaluate supportability Technology Insertion Initiatives for integration with DoD infrastructure and systems
  • Evaluate Support Equipment/Automated Test Equipment requirements for compliance with future DoD Automated Test Systems initiatives
  • Train JSFPO members on acquisition-process methods and procedures
  • Translate requirements into comprehensive, auditable, enterprise-level policies and process frameworks
  • Operate with minimal oversight and travel between Wright-Patterson AFB meeting locations or other government and contractor sites as required
Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Secret/SAP access
  • Knowledge of DoD practices, internal controls, or audit requirements
  • Ability to document processes, develop policy materials, and support compliance-focused initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and process tracking tools
  • Effective communication skills for briefing, coordination, and collaboration with government stakeholders
  • Project Management Analyst IV: 10 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 8 years with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • Project Management Analyst V: 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 13+ years with Master’s in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality
  • Ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, audit-driven environment
  • Preferred: Active Secret Clearance or higher
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in DoD Federal service in acquisitions, logistics, or maintenance
  • Preferred: Background in developing SOPs, manuals, internal controls, or enterprise process documentation
  • Preferred: Experience in project management, Agile methodologies, or strategic planning roles
  • Preferred: Familiarity with sustainment, maintenance, logistics, or readiness reporting
  • Preferred: Experience supporting aviation sustainment or DoD logistics systems
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for DoD facility and classified workspace access
