Job summary

Amentum is seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic Egress Specialist to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of F-16 egress systems on Amentum-supported aircraft. The role requires hands-on experience with ejection seats and related canopy and explosive devices, and involves both on-aircraft tasks and off-equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate has two years’ experience in ejection seat maintenance and egress system repair, as well as formal Air Force Egress System Specialist training.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ recent experience in ejection seat maintenance and two years recent egress system repair experience.
• Must have F-16A/B/C or D aircraft maintenance experience.
• Shall be a graduate the Air Force F-16A/B/C or D Aircrew Egress System Specialist Technical School or factory equivalent ejection seat course of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Removes, transports, inspects, repairs and reinstalls F-16A/B/C or D ejection seats.
• Maintains, inspects canopy explosive devices F-16A/B/C or D.
• Performs aircraft scheduled/unscheduled on and off equipment maintenance.
• Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft forms and VIDS/MAF System.
