Job summary

Amentum seeks an F-16 Aircraft Mechanic Egress Specialist to perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on F-16 egress systems, including removal/reinstatement of ejection seats and related components. You will work in a hangar/flight line environment with potential exposure to hazards and must maintain accurate maintenance records.

Two years of egress system repair experience and completion of the Aircrew Egress System Specialist course are required, along with the

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ recent experience in ejection seat maintenance and two years recent egress system repair experience.
• Must have F-16 aircraft maintenance experience.
• Graduate of Air Force F-16A/B/C/D Aircrew Egress System Specialist Training or factory equivalent.
• Shall be able to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain egress system on/off equipment and related components.
• Remove, inspect, repair and reinstall ejection seats.
• Operate GSE, flight line vehicles and support equipment as required.
• Annotate maintenance actions in aircraft forms and VIDS/MAF System.
• Order aircraft/equipment parts as needed.
• Supervise/assist in aircraft movements and FOD prevention.
