Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III – Egress to oversee maintenance of F/A-18 egress systems and lead a team of technicians on complex inspections.

The role requires proven expertise in explosive safety, experience with ejection seats and related subsystems, and strong leadership to mentor junior mechanics while ensuring strict compliance with safety and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in tactical aircraft maintenance focusing on F/A-18 egress systems.
• Active or eligible DoD secret clearance.
• Experience as F/A-18 CDI or QASO preferred.
• Explosive safety certifications and weapon handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test egress systems including seats and initiators.
• Safely arm/de-arm and configure egress components per safety guidelines.
• Lead egress tasks across multiple F/A-18 variants.
• Mentor junior technicians and ensure QA compliance.
