Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC is seeking an Egress Technician for the F-16 Production and Sustainment Team. You will perform on- and off-equipment maintenance on egress systems and provide assembly guidance for seats, canopies, rails, and related components.

The role requires 8 years’ fighter aircraft experience or a 7-level military credential, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Shift options include 1st or 2nd, with 3-day weekends.

Qualifications

• Air Force/ military 7-level discipline or equivalent civilian credentials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intermediary between production supervision and perform on/off equipment maintenance on F-16 egress systems.
• Provide technical guidance for assembly of ejection seats, canopies, rails, and other egress components.
• Communicate and support daily/weekly production goals and objectives.
• Adhere to safety, quality, schedule, and cost imperatives including PPE, hazardous material handling, and FOD controls.
• Support corrective action investigations and root cause analysis.
• Suggest innovations and process improvements to maintain 6S/lean practices.
• Maintain required certifications and qualifications, including Collateral Duty Quality Inspector roles.
