Job summary

AAR is seeking a F-16 Quality Assurance Inspector at the Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida. Responsibilities include performing inspections, tests, sampling, and audits to ensure products meet AAR specifications and customer requirements.

You will work with the QC Manager to prepare audits and reports while administering on-site safety and training for the QC team. The role requires experience in QA for fighter aircraft, ability to read technical drawings, and the ability to obtain a secret

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
• Experience with Quality Assurance on fighter aircraft in modification/maintenance environments.
• Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QC Manager in preparation of ISO 9001:2008 and government quality audits.
• Prepare reports as required by customer and staff.
• Operate QC program to ensure services are performed accurately.
• Execute the QAPP and all quality control operations.
• Collaborate with SES Manager on aircraft/equipment trends and DMSMS issues.
• Manage on-site Safety/Environmental Program and TODO.
• Administer QC training and on-the-job training for the QC team.
• Develop and maintain an effective QC program to ensure services are performed.
• Conduct detailed QCI and program audits IAW TOs, PWS, and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
