Job summary

The incumbent will supervise shifts, coordinate repairs, and apply technical data to locate parts, with emphasis on F-16 avionics, powerplants, flight controls, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Associate's degree + 6 years related experience in aircraft maintenance.
• High School Diploma + 10 years related experience in aircraft maintenance.
• At least 10 years working F-16 aircraft experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Flight Line Operations.
• Leadership experience in an F-16 aircraft maintenance environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Must read and speak English; able to comprehend safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assign program workloads and duties for shifts of aircraft maintenance workers.
• Maintain knowledge of supply procedures and Airworthiness Directives/Service Bulletins.
• Use technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and perform repairs.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify aircraft systems and powerplants.
• Oversee reading, interpretation, and execution of maintenance procedures.
