Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a senior F-15 Project Engineer in Berkeley, MO to drive cross-disciplinary project execution for F-15 programs. You will coordinate with Mission Systems, and hardware/software development familiarity is highly valued. This onsite role involves leadership with program managers and customers.

The position requires a BS in engineering or related field and 9+ years of experience, with potential travel up to 10%. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources, management, and customers.
• Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
• Responds to dynamic changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
• Leads project execution to complete the work statement with quality, safety, and on time delivery.
• Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
• Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. Identifies performance metrics.
• Works independently to provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project plans.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Engineering-related field
