Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III (F-15) Lead for Mountain Home AFB, ID, to serve as Site Lead and primary on-site representative for contract operations.

The role requires leading maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination with Government customers to ensure safety, mission readiness, and compliance with technical orders and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on F-15, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to interpret technical orders, contract requirements, and coordinate with Government and company leadership.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance and installation access.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site Site Lead / Lead Mechanic and provide day-to-day supervision for assigned maintenance personnel.
• Lead a team in F-15 maintenance, inspections, and scheduled/unscheduled activities.
• Provide technical guidance to subordinate mechanics and ensure maintenance per orders, data, drawings, and procedures.
• Perform, supervise, and inspect work by Aircraft Mechanic I-III personnel within qualifications.
• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and modify aircraft structures, engines, hydraulics, and related systems as required.
