Job summary

Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking a passionate EZMO Transportation Coordinator to lead and expand transportation services across our region. This role builds and sustains a volunteer driver network to help older adults, people with disabilities, and low‑income families access healthcare and essential supports.

This full-time, exempt position offers a 36‑hour workweek with Fridays off, starting pay of $25.61/hour, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in transportation programs or volunteer management.
• Strong communication, organizational, and public speaking skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with volunteer programs preferred.
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement of volunteer drivers.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, businesses, and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate transportation initiatives and mobility solutions across the service area.
• Supervise transportation program staff and oversee program performance.
• Promote awareness of transportation resources through outreach and networking.
• Support the long-term sustainability of transportation services through partnerships and funding opportunities.

Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation (JFCAC) is seeking a passionate and community-minded EZMO Transportation Coordinator to lead and expand transportation services throughout our region. This position focuses on building and sustaining a volunteer driver network while helping older adults, individuals with disabilities, low-income families, and other vulnerable populations access healthcare, employment, education, food resources, mental health services, and other essential supports.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for volunteer drivers.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, businesses, and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate transportation initiatives and mobility solutions throughout the service area.
• Supervise transportation program staff and oversee program performance.
• Promote awareness of transportation resources through outreach, networking, and community engagement.
• Support the long-term sustainability of transportation services through partnerships and funding opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay Rate: $25.61 per hour - may increase based on education and/or relevant experience
