Job summary

The Rise Nursery is seeking a Room Leader in January 2027. This role runs four days a week, 8am–6pm, with in-house training before opening. You will lead a nursery room for children aged six months to three years, providing high-quality EYFS provision and strong family partnerships.

You will supervise staff, ensure health and safety, and collaborate with the Nursery Manager to deliver consistent standards across the nursery. Strong safeguarding compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of high-quality EYFS provision.
• Act as a keyperson, building relationships with children and families.
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Lead day-to-day running of the room and maintain staffing ratios.
• Create an engaging, well-organised learning environment.
• Work with the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth running of the nursery.
• Develop positive relationships with parents and carers.
