Job summary

National Vision, Inc. seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily optical store operations and lead the eyeglass team. You will drive customer service, merchandising, and reporting while ensuring policy adherence.

Ideal candidates will be bilingual in English/Spanish with optical sales and supervisory experience, plus strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to grow sales and manage staff across locations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong store operations knowledge and success standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication for team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Proven ability to analyze and solve varied problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and lead by example.
• Review quality, remakes and enforce policies for compliance.
• Communicate with GM, District Manager and Corporate Office; store reporting.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; receptionist where applicable.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet licensing requirements where applicable.
