Job summary

America's Best in Milwaukee is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, supervise Opticians and CL Sales associates, and ensure outstanding customer service.

You will monitor and achieve sales and performance goals, manage promotions and visual merchandising, review remakes, and forecast staffing needs with the General Manager. This role offers opportunities to grow within National Vision and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Understand store operations and standards for success.
• Strong oral and written communication for management of teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and progress tracking.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey commitment to outstanding customer service across associates.
• Ensure quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office.
• Ensure store promotions, ads and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; support day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting and retaining staff.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
• Adhere to licensing requirements per location where applicable.
