Job summary

Walmart in Bluffton, SC is seeking an Optical Associate to assist members with eyewear purchases, measure pupillary distance, and verify prescription details. You will support OD services, perform frame adjustments, and help maintain the Optical area in accordance with company procedures.

You will process eyewear and contact lens orders, coordinate with labs and optometrists, and ensure calibration and cleanliness of optical equipment. Customer care and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Willingness and ability to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements to become apprentice/licensed optician and obtain licensure within 3 months of completing apprenticeship hours.
