Job summary

Sam's Club in Bluffton, SC is seeking an Optical Associate to maintain the Optical area, assist members with eyewear decisions, measure pupillary distance, and ensure accurate processing of eyewear and contact lens orders. You will work with labs and optometrists to update product status, repair frames and lenses, and assist with pre-testing and patient appointments as needed.

The role requires HIPAA-compliant records handling, inventory management, and delivery of high-quality customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months of hire in order to sit for ABO exam.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire or job entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optical merchandising and inventory, stocking and organizing displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns and exchanges at the POS.
