Job summary

Walmart / Sam's Club in White Bear Lake, MN seeks an Optical Associate to help members select eyewear, measure pupillary distance, and process orders and payments. You will ensure accurate prescriptions, perform frame adjustments, and handle insurance claims where applicable.

You will maintain the Optical area, stock inventory, and participate in required trainings to meet regulatory and company standards, while delivering friendly, compliant customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Willingness to register and maintain state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear decisions, measurements and repairs.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders, verify prescriptions, and handle payments.
• Maintain Optical area, inventory, and POS operations with HIPAA compliance.
• Complete required trainings and participate in team projects.
