Job summary

LensCrafters, part of Luxottica, is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eyewear experiences and drive sales in our California stores. You will guide customers through frame selection, use prescriptions to recommend lenses, and collaborate with the Optician for precise measurements.

This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and contributing to a welcoming store environment with a focus on accuracy and teamwork. Prior retail experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year(s) retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math/phone skills.
• Comfort with adopting new technology and accuracy in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales plans and company objectives by nurturing existing relationships and building new ones.
• Recommend lenses and coatings based on prescriptions.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with measurements.
• Take precise measurements using optical tools and consult with the Optician.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and professional relationships with team, doctors and staff.
• Keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
