Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Optical industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Use optical expertise to meet customer needs with personalized interaction.
• Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the Point of Sale system.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care and lens coatings.
• Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across frames and lenses.
• Create and manage patient files with confidentiality in mind.
• Interpret prescription requirements for lab technicians.
• Take measurements, prepare work orders, and inspect final products for accuracy.
• Adjust and repair frames as needed.
• Price, stock, and organize merchandise.
